Anybody who thinks Trump hatred takes any courage, is probably not acquainted with courage. You can call it righteous, sure, that's actually reasonably arguable. But joining in with the hatreds of everybody around you, I mean except when slumming it in internet fora, is typically not an act of courage. It does allow people who revel in hating and sneering at the out-group, to show those cards, even if they don't know they're showing them.

    Education is extremely important.

NS of course wishes to lump all of us together as one big Larry, all in lockstep. Meaning, of course, he doesn't read enough to determine who among us supports Trump and who does not. Me? I don't want him to be the nominee, but I didn't in 2016 either and did not vote for him. On the other hand, there is no question that the laws are being applied unequally for political reasons, and one cannot deny the Democrats' craven efforts at destroying him from day one. So, show me where the cowardice lies there. Is it because I do not call for his crucifixion? If that is what you wish to call cowardice then have at it.

It is not wise to argue with a fool. Listeners can't tell which is which. This applies to swamp creatures as well.

Au contriere my dear friend from the golden state. Like you, i am surrounded by friends and aquaintances of a polar opposite political belief. I used to just keep my mouth shut as they spouted out loud and on social media daily in deference to maintaining said friendships and aquaintances. No longer. I am now handing it right back to them in a most vocal and intelligent retort as things have gotten way out of hand to the point that party over country is what they prefer. That takes a bit of courage and much more importantly, alot of patriotism for which i hold in spades over the likes of you. I love this country, our country, and will not silently stand by and watch this 250 year experiment disappear down a gold plated toilet bowl with plenty of helping water pressure. 39 years direct service to our federal government including 4 years active duty. Hardly a thing someone would spend 39 years of their
life for if they hated America.

NS seems to be conflating Federal Government with the country. The Federal Government is not the country, and it is quite possible and increasingly likely that somebody could spend 4 decades in the Federal Government and hate the country.

Government jobs get snatched up real quick, and it's not because so many people love their country and want to personally sacrifice for it.

Now, if you want to debate specific issues and positions, we will be happy to do so, and civilly for the most part.

If, instead, you choose to just drop video bombs decrying the evil and foulness of the other side, then you are going to get bitch-slapped hard enough that Larry’s jabs will look like a lover’s caresse.

He points the unique thing about all of this. The cowardice. Reminds me of this place. After just being chastised by the patriarchy for not being very endearing in efforts to make friends with my ad hominem Neanderthal mention. Of course I fully expected it and for the most part have refrained from any sort of schoolyard bullying or name calling, Something that others here made daily ritual of and were never called to the principal’s office for, that continues even today after he has passed, with his number one toady and sycophant. But that has always been par for the course here. The unequal deliverance of Justice that you all have made your mantra in the real world of government and politics. Kind of hypocrital, no? It’s the main reason I left here as many others before me. I only came back to see if there were any converts to sanity with all the felony indictments. I said a couple years back that he would be in prison one day, and the saddest thing of all was you all considering that group of 8 the other night and that 6 of the 8 said they would still back him after any felony convictions for crimes of a traitorous nature. What has this country come to.? It is despicable.

Yes. You know that California is not just one big bastion of liberalism. There are huge pockets of conservative base throughout the state for which I am in the middle of one of them. Farmers, and foothill dwellers make up a big swath, but there are plenty more from all walks of life.

I’ve never been on a team, NS. I think Trump is a dumpster fire, but I’d still rather be neighbors with a Trump supporter than an all-out wokist.

You have 20 posts here. 20% of them contain name-calling.

                          "You dimwitted ostrich."

                          "Neanderthal base."

                          "whining right wing rube"

" Don’t you feel ashamed? Your brainwashing"

Some of us can disagree without being disagreeable. There are many here who lean left (contrary to your perception) with whom I disagree and we have never exchanged a harsh word. Life it too short to be angry all the time, even 1/5 of the time.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.
