Glad to see you here. Stick around more often.

That’s a pretty hilarious caricature of what a low-information leftist may think!
Not just them, high information leftists as well! Xenon, you’re losing your liberalism just to conform with the neanderthal base here. I am truly disappointed in you.

Nothing makes friends here like saying you're disappointed in them and calling other folks here neanderthals.
ETA: You might want to consider looking at some more...credible sources for your material.

Ah, the left. Moral litmus tests around every corner. Fail one, and be written off as an unacceptable human!

You should probably have a talk with Aqua, too. He’s gotten a little squirrelly since he’s had a kid.
But the scales are off my eyes now! Finley just told me he likes the color pink, so I’m off to the farm supply store to get a banner. See you guys later!

By the way, by “high information voters” I assume you mean stoners, right?

We could do with a bit more diversity here, IMHO.
Sorry if the D-word triggers anyone, but when Jon's considered to be a raging Leftist, it's just possible we might have slipped a little to the right.

Jon proudly self selects as a Trump hater at a level where acceptance of support for the man or a vote for the man would be absurd. That’s the raging fringe he inhabits. Not an ideological leftist fringe.
Shouldn’t call it fringe though. It’s perfectly mainstream. Too bad it’s incompatible with any pretense of mutual respect for the out-group.

I think Trump is an unmitigated twat, too. And not, it has to be said without good reason. I don't really understand why people make excuses for him. I kind of understand why he gets votes, but not enthusiastic ones. I can understand voting for the guy instead of Hillary, and even Biden. But saying he was a great President? Fucking hell, you'd have to be a bit tapped to believe that.

Schmidt is an ass. He gets Burns on there and just goes on and on, then asks Burns a question and tells him there is no answer.
The thing that strikes me is that what they accuse the GOP of, sycophancy and thirst for power, applies at least equally to the Democrats.

He points the unique thing about all of this. The cowardice. Reminds me of this place. After just being chastised by the patriarchy for not being very endearing in efforts to make friends with my ad hominem Neanderthal mention. Of course I fully expected it and for the most part have refrained from any sort of schoolyard bullying or name calling, Something that others here made daily ritual of and were never called to the principal’s office for, that continues even today after he has passed, with his number one toady and sycophant. But that has always been par for the course here. The unequal deliverance of Justice that you all have made your mantra in the real world of government and politics. Kind of hypocrital, no? It’s the main reason I left here as many others before me. I only came back to see if there were any converts to sanity with all the felony indictments. I said a couple years back that he would be in prison one day, and the saddest thing of all was you all considering that group of 8 the other night and that 6 of the 8 said they would still back him after any felony convictions for crimes of a traitorous nature. What has this country come to.? It is despicable.

Anybody who thinks Trump hatred takes any courage, is probably not acquainted with courage. You can call it righteous, sure, that's actually reasonably arguable. But joining in with the hatreds of everybody around you, I mean except when slumming it in internet fora, is typically not an act of courage. It does allow people who revel in hating and sneering at the out-group, to show those cards, even if they don't know they're showing them.
