Be afraid.
Be very afraid!
It's interesting how politics makes people proudly admit to failures they would otherwise be ashamed of. Your typical tribalist lefty will proudly claim to not understand how anybody could possibly be in the other tribe, and they'll also proudly claim to be utterly terrified of what will happen if that other tribe wins an election. Most adults don't go around crowing about how dumb and cowardly they are, but enter politics, and all of a sudden an inability to understand other human beings, along with a fear response that causes you to panic, are badges of honor.

Typical republican projection at its finest. Don’t you feel ashamed?
Your brainwashing began with Limbaugh and continues full force with Fox and company. What’s it really like to be a member of a cult? Is there self awareness?

As a point of process...no cheers should be allowed. This isn't "Real Time with Bill Maher."
I did not watch it and have only heard parts of the debate. But I agree 100%.
They should not have an audience for future debates. They only "minus" from the debate and add no "plusses"

self awareness
Is a very popular word now.
You can really make yourself look clever by claiming someone lacks self-awareness.
-
If Ramaswamy was the biggest loser of the night, Haley was the biggest winner.
According to fox

I wish they would tell us who had the best self-awareness.

Vivek's answer to that is that 30% of the US population gets psychologically ill when Trump is in office, but he, Vivek, doesn't have that effect. I don't think he helped his cause last night, if he's looking to keep people from going nuts at the prospect of President Ramaswamy.

@NobodySock That video changes everything! Thank you so much for changing my life! I will move on as a different man and it’s all thanks to you and that video. Everything that I accomplish from here on out will be due in some way to you and your influence on my life.

glad to remove the veil covering your eyes.
Now that you can see, it's time to truly be a patriot like me, instead of a whining right wing rube who actually hates America. Projection will only go so far.

No, if you look at the first chart, you see Trump's support decline.

GOv Christie agrees.
“If Vivek thinks that Donald Trump is the greatest president of the 21st century, what the hell is he doing running?” Christie said. “He should drop out tomorrow.”

One opinion on the current state of the "GOP" candidates.
QUOTE
The first Republican presidential debate on Aug. 23 revealed three categories of candidates: a couple who might be sensible pragmatists, a couple others who might be sensible if they weren’t trying to contort themselves into ruthless conservatives, and a third group in hot pursuit of the fringiest elements of the GOP.The most sensible candidates don’t always win national elections.
Many voters value performance over substance or want somebody who makes them feel good rather than promising responsible governance. ....... it’s likely the GOP nominee will be a bomb-thrower rather than a Reaganite establishmentarian.
Normal:
Nikki Haley
Asa HutchinsonSemi Normal:
Chris Christie
Doug BurgumAbnormal:
Mike Pence
Ron DeSantis
Tim Scott
Vivek Ramaswamy -

I actually didn't watch the whole thing. I have an extraordinarily busy lifestyle, and sometimes politics must take a back seat.
I've already posted my opinions about what I did see. Ramaswamy was cringier than I was hoping. However I can imagine that if that were the first time hearing his message, as I imagine it was for many viewers, it could have been compelling. My expectations were for the message and more maturity. He doesn't need to be 38 and also a kid acting like he's on a playground. I expect him to turn the maturity up a notch in the future debates. He's not a Trump character, unable to switch gears based on feedback and reflection. As for the other candidates, I thought Haley commanded the stage well and was effective when she tried to put Ramaswamy in his place. Christie can get the conservative never Trumper vote, fine, but he seemed like more of a comedian than a president. Pence is a plastic product of some kind.
