It feels very much like everyone is assuming that COVID is essentially over. Cities are opening up, DC is no longer requiring masking or vaccination cards to go into restaurants and bars, schools are dropping their mask requirements and people generally seem to think it’s done. I'm glad we got our vacation in while cases were low. I'm also very glad outdoor dining is just about back. I anticipate another wave.

I expected it to be smaller because of so much additional natural immunity from Omicron.

I think the ratio should be similar between BA.1 and BA.2.
