Finally, somebody's decided to tow Washington DC and New York City out into the ocean

I'm glad we got our vacation in while cases were low. I'm also very glad outdoor dining is just about back. I anticipate another wave.
Hope it persuades those holding out to get vaxxed.

Guess who’s going on a trip in early May? Florida, though, so things will be open.

And am still going to Brazil in April and CA in May.

Hospitalizations are approaching Omicron wave levels in a couple countries.
I expected it to be smaller because of so much additional natural immunity from Omicron.

How does that compare with case counts?

I think the ratio should be similar between BA.1 and BA.2.
