It feels very much like everyone is assuming that COVID is essentially over. Cities are opening up, DC is no longer requiring masking or vaccination cards to go into restaurants and bars, schools are dropping their mask requirements and people generally seem to think it’s done. What happens in late March/April when the numbers start going up again?
New cases are up 15% over the last two weeks in my county...

I'm glad we got our vacation in while cases were low. I'm also very glad outdoor dining is just about back. I anticipate another wave.
Hope it persuades those holding out to get vaxxed.
Guess who’s going on a trip in early May? Florida, though, so things will be open.

Hospitalizations are approaching Omicron wave levels in a couple countries.
I expected it to be smaller because of so much additional natural immunity from Omicron.
How does that compare with case counts?
