OK, this time I succeeded in installing various updates without any obvious fuckups.
Please let me know if something doesn't work anymore. I believe a few things have changed (we are now on NodeBB 4.1, previously it was 3.X), hopefully for the better.

The Kalus/Klaus debate is not going to be settled here. It is a subject on which reasonable people can disagree. I'm sure we've all staked out our positions. Let's agree to disagree, and move on.

I get this error:
“Error: Failure to load emoji metadata.”And the emoji selection panel won’t load, be it in the composer or in reaction.
Anyone else have similar issues?

Same, but may be just a laptop that cannot be upgraded to the latest operating system, latest browser edition, etc.

Tried on my desktop.
Have a 2024 iMac desktop and using Safari browser. No emojis other than the two shown in the post above.Not a big deal. More just FYI

For some reason the emoji pack we used disappeared. I'll investigate

OK, there's a problem with the Emoji set we have used and liked. I can't get it to work with the current NodeBB version.
In the meantime I've activated a different Emoji set, so we are not completely out of emojis.
