I get this error:
“Error: Failure to load emoji metadata.”

And the emoji selection panel won’t load, be it in the composer or in reaction.

Anyone else have similar issues?

Not sure why that is. Currently using an old Macbook laptop (circa 2013)and Firefox browser.

Not sure it is the same on my desktop. I will chekc later.

Same, but may be just a laptop that cannot be upgraded to the latest operating system, latest browser edition, etc.

Tried on my desktop.
Have a 2024 iMac desktop and using Safari browser. No emojis other than the two shown in the post above.

No, you are right, I also see that problem.

For some reason the emoji pack we used disappeared. I'll investigate

OK, there's a problem with the Emoji set we have used and liked. I can't get it to work with the current NodeBB version.

In the meantime I've activated a different Emoji set, so we are not completely out of emojis.

I'm seeing 503 errors quite a bit lately. Yes I am just stating the issue without helping to resolve.

Can't find anything about this in the logs. An exact timestamp when the error occured would help.

It happened just now, when opening forum, and also opening a thread. A refresh fixes it.

Hm, strange. I'll try to look into it tomorrow. I've randomly increased the memory limit of nodebb, maybe that does something.

It says excessive load. Maybe 89 sat on the forum again.
