I will screw up the forum once more today.

OK, this time I succeeded in installing various updates without any obvious fuckups.

Please let me know if something doesn't work anymore. I believe a few things have changed (we are now on NodeBB 4.1, previously it was 3.X), hopefully for the better.

I get this error:
“Error: Failure to load emoji metadata.”

And the emoji selection panel won’t load, be it in the composer or in reaction.

Anyone else have similar issues?

Not sure why that is. Currently using an old Macbook laptop (circa 2013)and Firefox browser.

Not sure it is the same on my desktop. I will chekc later.

Same, but may be just a laptop that cannot be upgraded to the latest operating system, latest browser edition, etc.

Tried on my desktop.
Have a 2024 iMac desktop and using Safari browser. No emojis other than the two shown in the post above.

No, you are right, I also see that problem.

For some reason the emoji pack we used disappeared. I'll investigate

OK, there's a problem with the Emoji set we have used and liked. I can't get it to work with the current NodeBB version.

In the meantime I've activated a different Emoji set, so we are not completely out of emojis.
