The stuff I'll do to avoid writing up performance reviews.
Ask other people for their feedback. They will give you great talking points which will make writing the performance reviews so much easier. Works like a charm.

It was funny - yesterday I did proper aerobic exercise for the first time this year, and come the evening I had way more energy than normal. This happens every time - I realise I've been wading through treacle, then there's a miracle when I start exercising, then my enthusiasm slowly wanes and I forget. Hopefully the weather turns soon, I need to get out on a real bike.

So how are you all doing? I was successful as far as not eating added sugar, which is huge for me, but have been going over what I’m supposed to on fat intake (fat/protein is awfully good at making me feel like I’m not hungry for longer) I was not that good with planned exercise some days, but got exercise other days because I had to (like the day I spent 3+ hours mopping and remopping the new gallery floor and carrying water up and down stairs because there is no sink down there). Should be down at least a pound for tomorrow’s weigh in, yay.

I did 30 minutes on the stationary bike every day last week, but skipped the weekend. Walked two miles each day. Ate pretty well. Drank beer over the weekend.
A bit hit and miss, IOW.

With the exceptionally cold weather we had in February, and the attendant snows, I've been a slacker about going on my walks. Interestingly, in December, 5 ½ miles was a typical walk, and I did it in about 95 minutes.
I started again, in earnest last week, and found that, at three miles, I'm getting tired. So, I've limited it to about 4, 4 ½ miles the last few days.
I wonder if it's because I got reconditioned, or that I'm just showing and feeling my age (shut up, @jon).

Week started well but then I hit the birthday on Friday...

Mixed bag. Weight jigged up and down all week and finally settled at a loss of one pound. Exercise was a non-starter, a little foam rolling.
The best thing is that I'm starting my fourth day drinking almost nothing but water, and it's fine! A life first. I'd be thrilled if this lasts and I can get off the sweetened beverage train.
Unrelated to weight loss, but it's possible my difficulty breathing that has been plaguing me forever has improved somewhat.

Slow start as I'm recovering from a nasty leg injury.
Still, did a few workouts. Weight trended well, but moved slowly as I would expect and want:
I know have an A/B regiment with 12 exercises to do each day, switching between A days and B days. It should be sufficient to keep me going until I'm comfortable rejoining a gym. Also it'll be warm several days this week so I'll get back to walking outside.

Scale says I’m down 3 pounds this morning from last week, but it was 2 yesterday (and since things go up and down as they go down, I’m going to call it 2, which is still fine with me!). I didn’t actually count calories this week, (mostly because I’ve done this enough that I know what I should eat, and what portions look like) no added sugar, and when I had a sweet craving, I had a tangerine or some apple. One big thing is to not drink my calories (because I’d rather eat them) - I’ve stopped drinking alcohol for the most part anyway(migraines) - so my “treat” is a non alcoholic beer, or if I want something cold and fizzy, I drink soda water. Otherwise it’s coffee/tea or regular water. Hopefully will do better this week with exercise (it’s snowing at the moment, and I’m ready for spring!)

Guys. My running shoes arrived.
Could you still get into them?
