This reminds me of the comment from the guy on Odd Lots - who after Trump can effectively ‘straddle the two Ps’ (populism and Peter Thiel, the latter being an avatar for the tech right)

How does that jive with Trump’s policy to not allow states to regulate AI?

The policy needs to go through Congress.

The Constitution is silent on tech developments. It's fair game for the states.
