She'd have crushed any other Dem candidate if she wanted to run in 2024 - and if there were a primary. I think she's smart enough to recognize the downsides of a run - and I doubt she's interested.

Haven’t really followed the hearings but I could see the idea that if he puts a more controversial nominee forward first (and also gets through) it’ll reset the bar to be lower for almost all his other nominees. Trump is very good at marketing strategy.

The article says 8 hours. You could easily have a couple of beers at the lobby bar, get your 8hrs sleep in, and fly the next day. This guy sounds like he went from the bar to the airport.

I used to take the trains from the airport to a stop which bisected Roxbury (sketchy) and Jamaica Plain (older, kind of nice). I need money to fix a flat tire.” Scared, I was too weighed down & buckled up just to drop my big bag and run. I had both hands together in my pocket. So I reach deep in there and with both hands pull out about $20 in Canadian Loonies and showed it to him. He says, “What IS that? GOLD?” And I say, “Well, yeah. Take it.” And he did and scurried off. I should keep some Loonies handy, we've got a bag full of foreign money of various types Roxbury's still a bit sketchy, but Boston as a whole is pretty good by American city standards.
