Interesting indeed. In case anyone is wondering why they would sue the hospital system (likely hovering close to insolvency) rather than Meta (which prints money), it’s not by choice but by necessity- Meta is not subject to HIPPA rules. Only the hospital is.

A long time ago I had to go work for a week on a North Sea oil rig. The permanent workers all had a week's worth of training and practiced getting out of a helicopter capsized in a swimming pool. All I got was a lecture on how to put on my rubber suit. I checked and luckily for me that particular oil rig didn't have a swimming pool.
