Philosophically or politically? Philosophically and theologically, no. Politically, it's about the best he can do. Again, politics is the art of the possible. You can't accomplish much, if you can't get elected.

I did too. He neglects to mention the oil boom in North Dakota and how much it boosted the economy.

I like ants, but would only observe fire ants from a distance. LOL There is a very cool book I have on ants which is worth reading if you are interested. [image: 1695087555143-img_9848.jpg]

    >Former President Donald Trump will travel to the battleground state of Michigan next week to meet with striking autoworkers instead of participating in the second Republican presidential debate, a person familiar with his plans said Monday. https://apnews.com/article/donald-trump-debate-strike-f79e9f0db53694206805d0bd3ae6683a

@Mik I was thinking more about foreign leaders and officials. It has been 6 years since President Obama was president, and other countries have had a lot of turnover. President Biden calling a top foreign official at 2 am - yeah, they will be awaken and take the call. President Obama/Bush/Clinton, hmmm, he'll call you back tomorrow .

Some reason, not able to access MSN articles, but I understand what it is saying. On a related note to that, the "disfunction" in the US congress that has prevented approval of diplomats had an impact on the US ability to respond and possibly have influence in preventing the recent coupe in Niger. My understanding is that the US has not been able to get a West Africa envoy or a ambassador for Niger into place and the positions have been vacant for a while. It left an opening for countries such as Russia and China to work with the military that took over the country. And Niger has a lot of unused natural resources.

@Jolly said in Not Guilty: @Horace said in Not Guilty: So, what's the story? I know nothing of the trial, but I sniff entrapment. Not a bad synopsis... https://www.declassified.live/p/another-whitmer-fednapping-case-goes Thanks. That's egregious on the part of the FBI.

@89th said in For those with little kids or grands: Looks great, but I cringe at any toy with more than 10 pieces these days. It's a constant battle. I'm of the "they'll play with a piece of cardboard" mindset and my wife is of the "there aren't enough toys in the world" mindset. I’m sure there’s an Amazon package waiting on my doorstep.

The last three occupants of the mayors office all got the bug. It wouldn’t be surprising if he did too at some point.

Take a knee, to avoid injury - gutless and suspicious Go for the TD - only 4 seconds left there would be no time for the field goal Go for the Field Goal, then maybe time for 1 play - onside kick - they could tie the game Was there any time left after the field goal?

That's a good question...Do carriers have an armor belt? That steel is of a different composition from mild steel or even the common hardened steel.

Thibault testified: https://justthenews.com/accountability/political-ethics/monfbi-had-second-informant-biden-case-was-asked-shut-source-down Retired Special Agent Timothy Thibault, the former No. 2 supervisor in the FBI’s Washington field office, told the House Judiciary Committee last week in a transcribed interview he was somewhat taken aback when he received the request from the lead agent in the Hunter Biden tax case in October 2020 to shut down the confidential human source (CHS). “It shocked me a bit because I'm, like, the purpose of – a confidential informant is to support a case,” Thibault told investigators in portions of a transcript reviewed by Just the News. Thibault did not further identify the source in his testimony, but best-selling author Peter Schweizer told Just the News Sunday that he believes he is the person described in the transcript based on past comments from Thibault and after The New York Times recently suggested the FBI had received information in the Hunter Biden case from a “right-wing author.” Schweizer said the FBI approached him and he provided to agents evidence about possible criminality in fall 2020. He said there was no politics involved, just facts and he pushed back on the narrative of the Times, noting its journalists reported on the Hillary Clinton-funded Steele dossier submitted to the FBI in 2016.
