    I saw one UAW worker interviewed who was complaining that her salary was "capped" at $25/hour. Being a new hire (<4 years) she's subjected to that limitation, whereas others, with more seniority, are not. I have no idea if that's true, and I'm too lazy to look into it, having just awaked from a nice nap.

      Between this and the new contract negotiated for UPS drivers, it seems we are watching the gradual equalization of white and blue collar job pay.

      Education is extremely important.

        That cap was probably negotiated by her Union…

            And $25 per hour = $52K a year before overtime. So a wage that’s pretty damn close to mean in the state and without a college degree and the debt that comes with it…
