"Art" is just the wrong use case for NFTs. Digital items in computer games do have real value. These things would work well as NFTs. And once we have the infrastructure to transfer ownership of real-world things via NFTs, then things become really interesting.

So, I had an appointment with Dr. D yesterday at 10:15. We arrived on time, and the nurse told us that Dr. Z will be seeing me soon. "What? I had an appointment with Dr. D." "She's not in today." Well Dr. Z did her thing, after explaining that "I'm seeing Dr. D's patients for her today. I had no problem with the exam, etc., but I was kind of pissed that I would be seeing a different doc with no heads up. Harrumph... You know, and I know, something stinks.
