Speaking of food... https://x.com/AKBrews/status/1748019921475260627?s=20 https://chicagopizzaandovengrinder.com Conceived by the owner in his Chicago Law Office while Dreaming of “il gran giorno” when he would open his restaurant, the Pizza Pot Pie has become a favorite of world-wide pizza connoisseurs who have graced the Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinder Company since its inception in 1972. The Pizza Pot Pie is an individual serving, “made from scratch” with triple-raised Sicilian bread-type dough; a homemade sauce consisting of olive oil, fresh garlic, onions, green peppers, whole plum tomatoes and a special blend of cheeses; sausage made from prime Boston butts; and doorknob-size, whole, fresh mushrooms. (Vegetarian Pizza Pot Pie available.) The Half-Pounder $16.75 / The One-Pounder $33.50 I used to live about 3 blocks from there. Good pizza, but never had the "pot pie."

@Horace said in Informal Poll…: I don't see any issues if Biden wins again, beyond some local and easily put down unrest. Everybody will get back to normal life within a few days. The last Biden victory led to our very electoral process being put on hold due to our Capitol being assaulted by dumbshits. I know we disagree about the nature and severity of that, which, okay, but for me the point is that using feels to justify circumvention of process is becoming more commonplace and more expected. Which is bad news for everyone.

Snopes The Lincoln Project. Two sources whose opinion I would trust to be totally unbiased when it comes to Trump. You'll never convince me that those photos weren't heavily edited. Remember the Time magazine OJ cover? And a psychologist criticizing the choice of a makeup artist. Perhaps they could have hired an expert in...makeup. But as long as we're talking about appearances via makeup and hair dye, can we talk about hair plugs too?

They'll tell you about it when the FBI starts to use it for antifa riot control. Oops, my bad! The Feds don't control antifa riots....

I think it's extremely unlikely that this kid got some fighter jets scrambled because he posted the joke on airport wifi and it was intercepted by advanced secret technology. More likely it was reported by a civilian, and the person so reported to panicked that they didn't want to be the one responsible for an attack they were warned about, considering the warning would surely be made public if the attack occured. If it was secretly intercepted, then it could have been dealt with more reasonably, which is to say, not at all.

I really dont get the whole controversy about sports and Saudi Arabia. With one hand, people get all upset that they are trying to host sporting events, etc. With the other hand, we sell them USD$billions of dollars of military equipment and buy USD$billions of dollars of oil. (On a Suadi related note, they are opening the first bar that serves alcohol in the country. It will be in the diplomat quarter and people who buy there must be registered.) https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-68085190

@89th said in I wouldn't be surprised. Not at all.: Besides Blacky McSanchez? Something about that name makes me hate them immediately. No idea why. Maybe I had a bad preschool teacher with that name.

@89th said in I, for one….: Btw many times the captcha or traffic light selection isn’t about accuracy but whether your mouse cursor moves like a robot or a human. True story! I get the traffic light / bridge / bus ones wrong almost every time. It's probably only because I have the trained nervous system of a concert level pianist, which must seem robotic to our AI overlords.

Good analysis man. All I know is the Steelers have (in my amateur opinion) had a really great draft picking record compared to other teams. I really only followed their draft picks between about 2003-2015 but man they crushed it. Troy, Big Ben, many others… check these first round picks out: [image: 1706224745406-6db75a14-75e2-4ed8-8aa9-4c016b2ca4dd.jpeg]
