Nah. If it was ok for SanFranNan, it's good enough for the GOP.

@Axtremus said in It ain't just you...: Not at all. CNN has published other reports and news segments on Hamas burning children alive. Different news articles talk about different things, just like different threads here talk about different things; that's how news sites work. @Jolly just chose to post the article he did, and you piled on. I couldn't possibly be less interested in how fair and balanced you think CNN is.

Not every puzzle has a theme and the themeless ones are the hardest. Usually Friday and Saturday. I do the NYT crossword everyday but I can only solve consistently Monday - Wednesday. Thursdays sometimes but often I need to cheat. I find fridays and Saturday close to impossible. Sundays are just big wednesdays. Anyway I’ve been at it for years and they get easier as u have often enough repeating or similar clues. But fri sat is just hit and miss.

@LuFins-Dad said in Hip drop tackles?: Put flags on them. Or make the defenders tie one hand behind their back… I also saw that Jackson was limping. The guy has never played a complete season. The AFC North is 1 play away from having $150 Million of cap space gone for the season, and 3 of the teams losing almost all hope for the playoffs as there backup QB’s are rookies by cap necessity. 30% of the cap being tied up in 1 person just isn’t tenable. I’m wondering if we might see a change in the way the QB is handled? If you might start seeing teams keep a QB through their rookie contract, then just redraft. Invest heavily into people movers on both sides of the ball and one star receiver. With a good system, you can then plug in a Brock Purdy, CJ Stroud, or Will Levis and have success. And can afford a top notch backup like Dalton or Bridgewater… If the NFL continues the NCAA trend...That means mobile QB's who can and will run the ball. Those guys will not have 15-year careers. Their bodies will not take the pounding...When a defender sees a running QB, it's party time. This new breed is not like a Fran Tarkenton. Fran played in the NFL for 18 years and ran around like a banshee, but he scrambled for time and an open receiver, not necessarily for yards. With the RPO of today, the rushing QB is trying to run for yards, depending on what the defense gives him. Taysom Hill is a helluva RPO QB. He averages almost five and a half yards per carry, but the Saints know that they can't run him over 8-10 plays per game or he stands a high chance of injury. Part of that is his running style, as he will truck you and grin about it. But any running QB absorbs too many hits. So, if the NFL continues to go that way, you're right. Draft a kid like Jayden Daniels who can throw, but who can take it to the house on any given run. Pair him with a top-notch defense and ride him for the five years of his rookie contract. While you're doing that, keep drafting QBs and hope you find another one for cheap. Wash, rinse and repeat.

That’s a reasonable approach.

Media Matters engineered the controversy and Twitter has the receipts. Don't want to do it on the weekend. You want it on Monday morning. In front of cameras. Control the news cycle.

Just looked at the lyrics for the first time. What a mess. I'm one of those that held them to a higher standard based on their legacy. Ugh.

I make a fabulous turkey noodle soup with Thanksgiving leftovers. As I was buying my turkey breast yesterday (yeah I’m going that route) I got a huge one with that soup in mind.

This all reminds me that Hamas wanted Israel to react with exactly what we're seeing today. Whether strategic or not, right or wrong, Hamas is getting Israel to respond exactly how Hamas wanted them to.
