    Safety first!

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

      Chinese helmets?

        Side note...

Many moons ago, when I was a pineliner, the company-issued hardhats were very good. I can testify...If I still had mine, the gash in the top made by a falling short piece of pipe, is the first thing you'd notice.

I kept that hat and wore it on two other jobs. It was thicker plastic, with a heavier, thicker center rib and better suspension system.

On another note, I did tear up a football helmet in high school. Helmet to helmet contact on a kickoff. Helmet broke where the top of the facemask cage attached. Helmet stayed intact on the sides where the cage attached, but the impact broke the screws attaching the facemask.

Even at the pro level, I noticed Mahomes broke a helmet in the Buffalo game.

          Time for helmet certification.
Like FCC, NSF, UL, etc., mandate certification label and make the database of certified helmets freely available and searchable by the general public.

(I dont know if it is only me, but does anyone else have problems in playing Twitter videos? I can see the Tweet, but when push play on the video, it just spins and spins and never starts. Maybe my internet?)
