Kinda left out the part where she turned lesbian and left the family for another woman. That would tend to mess with a 17 year-old kid's mind, I'd think.
Kid shot himself behind the ear with his mom's pistol, or so I was told.
All considered, the kid seemed to be well-liked. A ton of young people attended his funeral. I hope some of them weighed what the preacher told them about suicide, it's a permanent solution to a temporary problem and no matter how bad or hurt you might feel about things in your life, there's somebody that will listen to you and help you.I
