@Jolly said in The Sorry Bastards From NYC: They are driving up land prices so much, that young local couples cannot afford housing where they grew up. That would suck.

So she's supposed to be an advocate for the democrats? doesn't that just prove Trump's point about the media?

@Horace said in Incoherent?: I am a computer programmer who is also a visionary leader. Me too. I can do, and have done, both the detailed implementation of various things and the visionary creation and leadership of organizations. But I seldom do both at the same time.

@jon-nyc said in We haven't beat on the IHME model in a while: THey are not predicting a significant increase in the death rate even as the new case rate is doubling every 14 days. Seems rather optimistic. [image: 1594045044005-screen-shot-2020-07-06-at-10.17.05-am-resized.png] In the event, their optimism was unfounded. Daily deaths now are about double the maximum number they predicted.

Yeah he did. And great dirt on himself, which he gladly shared in a private setting.

It's not like there's a big whole tongue on your plate. You get a 3-4 slices and the meat is really tender. Shoot, I should have taken a picture. Anyway, like Mik said, they make great tacos.

I am very happy. this man has taken nothing but abuse and grief for his efforts to keep Ohioans healthy and the economy going. Nice republic if you can keep it. At times it would appear we almost deserve to lose it.

I'd have to imagine there was something to it. Like the bottom of the cup slightly curved, or a wrinkle in her cap she used to clip it into. EVEN if that were true, it's impressive. And if those theories weren't true, even MORE impressive. Also, I bet she swam that 50m faster than I could without a milk glass on my head!

Fascinating. Saving for later. My uncle was there, BTW. I remember he gave me a Bosnian t-shirt when he came back. Didn't get a whole lot of stories.

We really just need more platforms out there.
