I don't believe it is ethically appropriate for an old white male to be the subject of any of our cultural compassion and empathy at this time. I have decided to redirect all sympathies I would normally have for this old while male to the unjustly murdered Black man in Atlanta, and I call on all of us with good and just hearts to do likewise.

The cabbage will go all mushy. I wouldn't. Just eat it up in a couple days, which won't be a problem because that is DEE-licious. Freezing seems to be the order of the day. I just picked up an order at Kroger. I ordered one pound of green beans and got a four pound bag! I love green beans but we won't eat that in a month. So I guess I will flash freeze them on a cookie sheet then put them into a freezer bag.
