Most states already have extra charges for assaulting officers. One of the problems is that other municipal unions get envious and push for the same protections, viewing it as a matter of respect from the city or state. Next thing you know we have two classes of citizens under law. Special laws for our civil masters servants just like we have special pension plans. I’ll pass, thanks.
