    The Big 10 is back.

This guy thinks that is a Trump win...

I believe the president says he made it happen.

      Win.

Ogeron said the other day, the majority of the Tigers had tested positive.

        Interesting...

You misspelled "Oregon". Also, wrong thread. We are talking about the fires elsewhere. Also, the Tigers have nothing to do with the Oregon fires, so I'm not sure what your point is.

          Education is extremely important.

He's probably talking about the shaved tiger

They shaved that tiger in order to upgrade Trump's wig.

Nothing says 'masculinity' like a fat old rich bastard in a tiger-hair wig.

              I was only joking

Yeah, but reminds me of something, so a brief tangent.
What if it finally becomes apparent, say 95%, that the CCP deliberately released the virus, and then shut down domestic travel as it got out of hand. Or something like that.

What would the U.S. or the West do? Should do nothing? If something, then what? The response would not be on behalf of only the act and the illness, but the body count of those that died from it. I've wondered about that a lot, actually. My guess is nothing, but by golly, next time!! Watch out!!

                    Break them financially. Unequivocally. Forever.

Kind of agree with you, but would not happen. Kind of like atom bomb - you may get the other guy, but in a last effort, he will get you too.

The US (and world) is too addicted to cheap Chinese stuff. While things are moving pretty quickly out of mainland China, it would still be a huge impact on the US economy if something was done too sudden, and I dont think any US President (Republic or Democrat) would be willing to take the short term (5-10 years) pain until things could re-establish.

But there is the fact that "next time" could kill all humans on the planet.

And there will be a next time given that the CCP has no word or agreement which anyone could trust. I despise communists, and base my hatred on how it is proven over and over the newest rendition of Marxism does not work, but inevitably ends up in misery and the slaughter of countless millions. And there are several paths to that outcome, we may be on one of them going from slow-motion to catastrophe.
                          Thanks, Mao and the gang!!

Cheap goods are one thing, and sanctions or tariffs have had a negative effect on consumers in the U.S.
But, that would be nothing compared to if the Three Gorges Dam busts. That's a distinct possibility.

True, but mainland China could do that if the US does extreme severe sanctions or if they don’t.

Unfortunately, world politics forces countries to sometimes hold their nose when dealing with others countries.
