We really liked it. Good story, good characters, good effects. I’ve seen the 76 version but that was decades ago. It used some of John Ford’s documentary footage. This one didn’t but it did have John Ford as a very minor character.

My father started scraping the car against the garage. That’s what we could see. It was probably worse than that. He knew it though. When he finally moved in with my sister I drove him in his car from IN to Arlington. When he walked in her house he handed my sister the keys and said ‘take it, I won’t be needing it anymore’.

@Jolly said in The Maureen Corps?: @Aqua-Letifer said in The Maureen Corps?: @Jolly said in The Maureen Corps?: A young lad dropped by my house today, who served a hitch in the Corps and did one tour in Afghanistan. His opinion? One word... Clusterfuck. He said there might be a few gals that could pack a combat load in the 110 degree heat, but they would be far and few between. I agree with both assessments. But it'd be a cluster because of inflexibility to change, not because women by virtue of being women would destroy the military. As for who could pass muster, I don't care if it's one out of 100,000. If that's what it is then that's what it is. He also talked about the problems with unit cohesion and women in an outfit. Heard that one before.

University of Illinois in Illinois also developed a saliva test and are using it on all students at least two times each week.

Oh, and I get the 4 oz burratas. You don't really have to add the fresh oregano and I am using a tube basil tonight as my herb garden all died from some sort of blight. I think I have the wrong pot, not enough drainage.

Wheeler has a 1.2 million dollar home in the West Hills of Portland, a wealthy area that overlooks the city. He also owns a home in the San Juan's. He's definitely rich, which is of course why he cares so much about, well, stuff.

@Loki said in Republican National Convention (RNC) - 2020: @George-K said in Republican National Convention (RNC) - 2020: @Horace said in Republican National Convention (RNC) - 2020: Omg Ax is going to be so embarrassed. I'm going to wait for the New York Times' retraction. I guess Ax has moved on just like the NYT. He has offered no retort and no capitulation. The retort is as follow: Suppose you go by the Lynn Patton tweet you linked to, it shows a CNN person's email saying three named people "knew the video was going to be used for the RNC." When did they know? Did they know before they were recorded or after? If they know only after they were recorded, then there is no inconsistency with the NYTimes report. Furthermore, the CNN person's email also says the three named people asked the video to be cut -- it is not literally clear what "cut" might mean in this email, but it would be reasonable to guess that by "cut" they mean they do not want the video shown, which again would be consistent with NYTimes quoting one of the recorded tenant as unsupportive of Trump and furious about not wanting the video to be shown in the RNC. Look also at Lynn Patton's question: "Do you honestly think @WeRJamestown would film 4 civilians WITHOUT also telling them it’s for the #RNC & getting waivers from each resident" (note that so far there is no evidence provided to show what the waivers say or that the waivers even exist), ask yourself this: Do you honestly believe Acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf's claim that he did not know a video in which he participated in a naturalization ceremony would be broadcast during the Republican National Convention?

Yeah, we are driving around the same. I put just over 7K miles on the Murano. We drive so little right now that we decided not to buy something newer for the second car when we gave daughter the GMC. We're just keeping toe 2010 Camry with 145K. It runs fine, looks good and has leather, bluetooth, sunroof, etc. It is eeded about once a month so we have to deliberately drive it from time to time to keep the battery up. We'll drive more as things open up, but for now, gas mileage is not a factor.
