Toilet paper supply seems fine. Paper towel may have a bit of a shortage in that I could not find the Bounty brand paper towel at the local Costco, and that's the gold standard for paper towel. But there are other brands of paper towel available. Have not notice any other shortage, if any. Face masks, gloves, sanitizers, etc. are all available.

I'm not a fan of opinion polls. Some countries ban them prior to elections, but that would probably be unconstitutional here. In the UK, prior to the 2015, the polls indicated a hung parliament, so a lot of the pre-election discussions were about who would do deals with whom. It didn't happen, but it was a huge distraction from what they should have been talking about.
