The prequel to "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" tells the backstory of Nurse Ratched.
Watched the first episode.
The trailer makes it look a lot campier than the first episode was. I love Sarah Paulson's work (American Horror Story) because she's always so..."icy."
Acting is great (though sometimes over-the-top), the cinematography is lush, and the music is Bernard Herrmann-esque.
Reviews are mixed, and I'll give it a couple of more episodes (perhaps 3 more).
But, if you're looking for quirky, check it out on Netflix.

I'm good. I seriously doubt they're going to do the character justice. There was an important point Kesey was making with Ratched, and one worth exploring, but I don't wanna see that watered down to some halfassed post-modern attempt at The Joker.

Watched #2 today. It's like a slow-motion car wreck. You know it's shit, but you can't not look. Everything is SO over-the-top.
I'll give it one more...

@Aqua-Letifer would pop an aneurysm over a line from episode 3:
"Of course discretion is extremely paramount."
FFS.

He would very pop an aneurysm over that.

A very unique example of stupid, I'll grant you that.

Is it wrong that I find her quite attractive?
Well, maybe the influence of Phibes has rubbed off a little on me, if you'll pardon the expression.
