The view from the stands is certainly not the view from the field. Can you imagine what Brees or Wilson has to look through, to try to see if a receiver is open?

The cop showed a lot of restraint. When the man kept advancing in the face of a weapon and especially when he raised that stick, I would have shot him. And after about the first three, the next ones would have been in his face. Now, if backup had been there and it would have been two cops or more, different story. Or if the officer carried a tazer and had time to use it, different story.

We threw out three laundry baskets full of stuff and it's still pretty full. But since our appliances are all committing suicide these days we did not want to leave the indoor freezer with anything that would leak onto the hardwood if it died while we are down south. I made the list: Buttload of beef Two buttloads of pork some chicken and fish and lamb two loaves of sourdough bread ...you get the picture.
