@George-K No surprise, I dont think. It seems to agree with what we know about the COVID now.

My oldest brother served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He performed in the band and was stationed at Ft. Dix. Every Memorial Day, July 4th, and Veteran's Day he flies a flag at home in Cowan, TN, that was on the casket of our uncle who was killed a week before the end of WWII. He was a gunner on a B-24 and his plane collided with another while returning from a bombing run in Germany. All 22 airmen on both planes perished.

Delciious. If you like brussel sprouts. The guanciale is much more flavorful than regular bacon.

I came upon this on Youtube by chance. I had forgotten what a great performance this is of the Rach 3. Weissenberg not only had a great technique, but played really musically as well. The first movement cadenza is simply awesome.

The wife (daughter?) of one of Murdoch's sons, who is now in charge of FoxNews tweeted "We did it!" on the prognostication of Biden's assumed victory.

A Murdoch newspaper in Britain ran the headline "It's The Sun Wot Won It" in the British general election in 1992, as yet another fucking Tory government got in.

At least their grammar has improved.

If you Google, you'll find that the author of this article has been writing about 'massive voter fraud' for at least 9 months.

And now, amazingly, she's noticed voter fraud.

“While Bari Weiss’s description of a young woke mob taking over the paper was roundly criticized, several Times employees I spoke to saw truth to the dynamic,” Wiedeman wrote.

I'm pretty friendly with a two folks there, one of which is a pretty high level editor who is good friends with James Bennett. Both confirm that this is the dynamic playing out.

There's no right to buy it online.

You can make the same point about mail-in votes. That's not in the constitution either.

I never said mail-in votes were a constitutional right. They do make a lot of sense in the time of Covid.

I've know I've said this before, but I've observed a massive correlation between people quoting the US Constitution at the beginning of a sentence and people proposing some really stupid shit.

Buying guns and ammo online would be an example of this.

I've bought several guns online. You just have to have them shipped to a !ocal FFL.

As Jerry Miculek (a fine Louisiana fella) would say, "Get you some!" .

There are plenty enough votes out there still to be counted to put Perdue over the 50% threshold. I mean, if he comes in at 50.01% then he is in, right?

    Correct.

I am OK with having a national ID card issued to every one.
Heck, I am even OK with said national ID card having a field that indicates citizenship/immigration/visa status.

@Jolly said in Mark Cuban's recommendations for future elections:

Cuban is an idiot, with no sense of history.

The genius of the two party system is two-fold. It keeps radicals from seizing power and it often ensures gridlock. On most issues, the government that does the least, is actually to be desired. Gridlock is good.

We think we gave huge issues. Most of the time we don't. Keep taxes fairly low, provide opportunity pathways and government can get out of the way while the people sort things out.

A major war is a big deal. A bad financial depression s a big deal. A world-wide pandemic is a big deal. At the appropriate time and in a compromise manner, the two parties will work together for mutual benefit, addressing those things which must be addressed.

I don’t know Mark Cuban, so can’t comment on him, but the rest of what you write I think makes a lot of sense.
