Is it an opinion piece from the opinion pages?

If so, then we can easily find other news sources that often print or tell opinions that may not be agreed with by the parent company. Sometimes, they do that because they want to create controversy.

Doesn't that basically mean that they will spread misinformation for other purpose (clicks, political propaganda, fomenting social unrest, etc.)? A corporation does not get absolution because they only allowed the spread of misinformation on their platform.

    Serious question here:

What is the "root" cause of the high crime in US cities?

    Poverty?
    Guns?
    Cultural?
    all of the above?

Too much police funding Not enough guns

that still doesn't explain why in 2021 black folks still could not purchase grave plots in the cemetery.

In case you missed it above, they changed the policy, black folks can buy the grave plot.

I hope that helps with your outrage.

Hell, I learned that yesterday sometime between after jon posted "Bad legal takes by Copper" and then provided you with the hot link on public accomodations. But I understand your indignation though, you've dug yourself into a hole. You really ought to have taken Phibes advice against that. Silly billy.

In any case I am disappointed not outraged that something this still occurs in a country such as the USA.

Finally got a chance to try out Lukeā€™s new Oculus system. Didnā€™t play a game or watch a movie, just messed around with Google Earth.

That was totally cool. I can really see the value of this technology far beyond games and entertainment. I think I may have to get a system for myself.

    Love the new Oculus Rift-S!

I am inside the cockpit of any airplane available in MS FlightSim and you totally get the sensation of flying. I am in the driver seat of any F1, GT, Nascar, Dirt Rally car. The latter gets a little wonky when you are climbing up a narrow mountain road covered in icy patches. The headset tends to get very warm, making me sweat which does not help with the woozy feeling you get when you slip on ice and feel like you are going to plummet off the edge of the mountain. lol

Many sim racers/pilots, use ducted fans to keep air blowing on them to keep cool.

Some really crazy people participate in multi-hour races that mirror the real life counterpart. Including the 24 hours races! WTF? Who could possibly sit inside a sim environment for that long? ugh, not this guy! lol

    How about Breitbart?

I considered Breitbart ā€œmainstreamā€ back in 2017, but its viewership has gone down significantly, so at this point I donā€™t think it qualify as ā€œmainstreamā€ anymore.

Say, wasn't he the one implicated in some funny business that involved Deutschbank and shady Russian money going into some real estate deals in NYC?

Must have LAW AND ORDER !!!

Reminds me of a Taiwanese news clip I saw many months ago where a bunch of cops got a bunch of criminals surrounded in a building and was about to bust in to make arrests. The criminals refused to let the cops in saying that the cops were violating COVID-19 rules about wearing masks and measuring their body temperatures before entering a building. Professional enough, the Taiwanese cops all put on masks and organized themselves into a single file and had their temperatures scanned on the foreheads, one by one, before entering the building to make arrests. Subsequent arrests were made without further incident.
