If you were President and you had a state of the union tonight what would you say?

As messages go, I would consider shame and blame casting at the vaccine hesitant to be counter-productive. I wouldn't want to pile onto the notion that they are de facto mass murderers and destroyers of civilization. I would keep the numbers to what is true and demonstrable, and which, if true, should be sufficient to convince anybody that getting vaccinated is good for themselves and everybody else. I would attempt to establish a basic human understanding of vaccine hesitancy. Maybe I would request an intelligence briefing about the most influential anti-vax ideas out there, and respectfully refute them.

See, when I say things like this, I'm accused of not supporting anybody and therefore of being a nihilistic wanker.

I'm a victim of the two party system! Bloody oppressors.

The FDA Fact Sheet indicates some ranges of samples. Varies by system and sample even within the Roche devices, but my number isn't as bad as I thought. Low positives are in the 1.x range, and positive samples averaged anywhere from <5 to 20. Not inconsistent with Bach's results.

Going to be some mighty cold Brits...

I'm sure they'd be happy to move to warmer climes - how do you feel about getting a bunch of English neighbours? You could learn about decent beer and proper whisky!

We used to have a bunch of English nurses at Tulane. They were quite popular...

    @jolly said, "I didn't make the list."

    You're in good (?) company:

THERE were some very special celebrations taking place last week, with Meghan Markle and Barack Obama both marking their birthdays on August 4th.

However, the Duchess of Sussex - who turned 40 - is reported by a royal expert to be unhappy that she wasn't invited to the former US President's party.

Meghan Markle "desperately wanted" to attend Barack Obama's birthday party,

Writing in The Sun, author Angela Levin explained that the mother-of-two "desperately wanted" to be among those in attendance at the three-day do.

She said: "I am told that despite claiming she was unable to attend, Meghan desperately wanted to be the special guest at the Obama’s amazing party."

Due to Covid restrictions, the guest list had to be shrunk down from 475.

The expert added: "But the fact is, Harry and Meghan were never even on the original list."

But fear not, you can steal "his" look:

When he made a huge claim and Fox wouldn’t back him up I thought he had jumped the shark

Carlson also said that the goal of the unmasking was to have him lose his job.

I've not seen any evidence of that.

And that may be wrong. Probably is wrong.

But what is very interesting us whether it was a mistake made with a routine intercept or something more nefarious?

It's more of an academic exercise. Copper listed a big bunch of people he felt were at higher risk and deserved to be punished financially, I just added one I thought he'd accidentally omitted.

At least he made room for the gays.

We could do a Venn diagram. I wonder how many overweight gun owners are also gay hang-gliders. They'd make a hell of a mess if they crashed.
