It WAS Copper’s clue along with thinking about different types of stables.

    👍

At first I was thinking of studio stables as in movies and tv… A lot of guys that were role players before getting their breakout. I was going completely down the wrong track.

It's a memorable moment when TDS sufferers list, among the reasons they hate Trump, that Trump is divisive.

I wanna see a selfie of Phibes in a baseball hat.

And I wanna purple unicorn that shits chocolate ice cream.

The main reason the device lay dormant in my house for years is that Mrs. Phibes was worried I'd forget and answer the door....

    @jolly You mean for Jacksonville?

Even so, baaad luck for the poor Saints. How bad does weather have to get before a game is cancelled?

Nope, it is a home game for the Saints. Ida, electricity and the Superdome, you know...The Cardinals/Saints preseason game was canceled.

As for NFL games being canceled...I know Miami had one canceled years ago because of Hurricane Ivan. I'm not sure about any others....

Steelers played Miami the day after Hurricane Jeanne in 2004. It was tropical storm level weather…

Considering his demographics, can Rogan hurt CNN?

Yes, but CNN is also getting great at unforced errors.

    Bias showing much?

There's no one on this board who could make that comment more hilarious, considering the source. Hat's off.

Oh, you're biased as hell. You just don't like to admit it.😛 😛 😛

Prob'ly. A very abridged and completely hamfisted summary of where I stand. Prepare to be triggered.

COVID Stimulus: keep people off the streets, but not at the expense of bankrupt companies and landlords.
GLBT & Minority issues: There's a shitload we have to actively dismantle here, but equality of opportunity needs to be defended, and new loopholes need to be filled in.
Police reform: Dampen union influence, support local jurisdictions, throw a ton of money into community outreach because the rift is getting terrible.
War on drugs: Just stop. Decriminalize addicts, give them multiple avenues to re-enter society. Offer needle exchanges for junkies.
Education funding: How might we go about revoking accreditation for schools who practice CRT training or curriculum? Also, no safe spaces or university-imposed kangaroo courts.
Education reform: More actual diversity in K-12. Don’t hold high achievers back. Provide tons of alternatives for kids who suck at STEM but have other marketable skills they don’t even know they have. Music programs, art programs, trades, etc., etc. Revamp home economics to train kids how to work for themselves because my God, nearly half the country falls into that.
Environment: I don’t see how you can rationally argue that environmentalism harms society, or that innovations in environmental technology is bad for business.
Foreign policy: H.W. did a pretty decent job.
Government reform: Get a shitload smarter about our defense budget. More weird shit like the Civilian Conservation Corps and the Farm Security Administration’s documentary projects. Put more money into programs that have a high societal return on cost.
Gun control: What good are new laws when we don’t even use what we have?
Health care: Obamacare sucks. Socialized medicine. Right now today.
Homeland Security: completely expose domestic surveillance programs. All of it needs to be public.
The southern border: provide flexible options for foreign workers and see how that goes for awhile.
Jobs: No minimum wage hikes, no legislation restricting pro bono work, but remove the Fair Pay amendments for salaried employees.
Religion: I don’t see how you can pretend to offer an education system that adequately prepares children to enter the world without a comprehensive religion curriculum.
Abortion: Very much against both abortion and telling anyone facing that option what they should do.
    Capital punishment: Against.
Taxes: I really don't care. If I pay 60% in taxes but that money goes toward things I no longer have to pay for so that the net income/expenses even out, what the hell do I care so long as I'm not funding something stupid.

We think quite a bit alike.

I love the Billionaire from Walmart railing against the current distribution of wealth.

I think wokeness coming from people who inherited wealth makes a lot of sense. (Real privilege)

The problem is when they try to generalize their luck to all white people.

No right-thinking person would accept a treatment touted by Mr. Trump.

Well, he pushed the development of the vaccines, and plenty of his own folks are refusing to take those.

Mr. Trump controls the behavior of most people in this country, but not all.

Mr. Fauci controls a small minority.

This is why so many urban areas no longer have local shopping.
