ABC, CBS, NBC nightly newscasts ignore Virginia gubernatorial race on eve of election

The tight race has been likened to a referendum on Biden, Democrats

On the eve of the country's most highly anticipated election since the 2020 race for president, mainstream networks ABC, CBS and NBC avoided mentioning Virginia's gubernatorial showdown in their Monday night newscasts.

According to Grabien transcripts, and first reported by NewsBusters, each of the networks ignored covering the tight race between former Democratic Gov. Terry McAuliffe and Republican businessman Glenn Youngkin, opting instead to focus on topics that didn't spotlight electoral challenges for Democrats.

ABC spent the largest portion of its coverage on climate change, focusing at one point on Queen Elizabeth's call to action to address the issue. CBS spent a large chunk of time covering former Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin's new book, while NBC spent nearly two minutes talking about a food truck in Austin, Texas.

What little thought I've given to this guy, I see him as someone with too much ego and too little sense. I see him as a dope. I don't see him as evil. He is probably too dumb to be evil.

The point is pretty obvious. I suspect most Americans, particularly those on the Conservative side of the spectrum, could pick it up pretty quick.

Live or not, that's a distinction without a difference.

I'm pretty sure she buggered off, saying 'Ah, Sod 'em....', and then Lot found the salt later and he was too embarrassed to admit what really happened.

Many voters are not going to take the time to be informed.

I've never believed that every slobbering moron should have the franchise.

Been on one where the plane rocked from side to side, several of the overhead bin doors flew open scattering the luggage and the oxygen masks dropped.

I didn't enjoy it.

I’m also surprised this works. I have a plugin hybrid, and when it’s charging the plug is locked and can’t be removed (even if the car itself is unlocked).

That will work.

As an alternate...Use a styrofoam box (I prefer Beckman-Coulter😄), line with two layers of wax paper, wax side facing the inside of the box, with enough hanging out of the top to almost touch the floor on all four sides. Take the bird directly from the oven, place in the cooler, wrapping the excess wax paper around bird (paper side to bird, wax side towards lid). Put lid on, run a couple of pieces of tape to keep lid in place and do not remove lid- under penalty of death- until you're ready to carve and put on the table.

Bird is good for two hours like that, no problem.

The Police should have better things to do.
