It would be helpful to know ages and comorbidities.

Since nobody seems to care very much, I assume most of the victims are, or were, evil.

This could be a good thing if properly contained.

I have seen them in concert several times.

I bet many don't remember that they were banned from the July 4th concert on the National Mall because they were not wholesome.

    Mr. Reagan corrected that mistake.

    @jolly said in BIPOC Scoring:

Down here, there were a disproportionate number of blacks dying. That can be explained by:

More blacks in urban centers. Higher population density. Higher BMI's than caucasians as a general rule. Less numbers vaccinated.

None of that has to do with mortality being worse in equally healthy individuals.

I think there could be a bit more to it than that. There are still conflicting reports on the effect of Vitamin D deficiency, and with as much as this disease effects your vascular system, the higher prevalence of diabetes definitely has an effect.

Haha yes definitely a fan. My piano world, OCT, TNCR, etc.... avatar was photoshopped variations of him for years. I think most of you thought that's what I looked like, just as I imagine GK as an angry old white man. Wait.

Imagine being born a woman of color in America and having nothing to show for it other than being Vice President of the country.

    LOL

As a white male, it sure is annoying I don't have any acceptable race/gender excuses to blame when something in my life is difficult.

@lufins-dad Agree. Some unanswered questions, but if the story the lady told is correct, the other family should return her dog.

@klaus said in Your favorite Horowitz recording?:

His melody line is almost never louder than mp and sometimes goes down to pp, yet it floats over the accompaniment so crystal-clear that it's hard to believe. How does he get to that level of control?

I have seen this sort of amazement at Horowitz's mastery before. I quite share the sentiment and have many times found myself at awe listening to Horowitz's very precise, very nuanced control of tone and volume across multiple layers of sound coming out of his piano.

It was nothing but buying votes promising payoffs. I surely would like to see these issues addressed separately rather than huge, unreadable bills.

Nice! We are making Gingerbread Men tonight for some of our neighbors.

    Straight-up or weird ones?

    Anatomically correct.

No I mean, are they impaling each other with jam-blood spilling out or are they just standing there smiling?

Lucas and Finley are decorating them right now, so who knows?

The real issue isn't even Pfizer to my mind. It's the lack of oversight from the FDA.

    Dude are you serious? 😄

This is the very same organization that, for decades, conservatives have—rightly—mocked for being so monolithic that they "wouldn't approve aspirin in this day and age." I've heard that here, many, many times. And it's correct.

But now, in the midst of a global pandemic, in which the one thing everyone on the planet wants most and right now is a workable vaccine, the problem is that the FDA played it too fast and loose?

I'm not saying they didn't, I'm saying how could they not? If not in this way, then it would have been something else. With thousands of balls in the air and unprecedented pressure to just get on with it, you're gonna drop some balls.

    Ever work with the FDA?

No, but they're enormous and bureaucratic AF.
