When I first started traveling and was by myself, I was self -concious about going into a restaurant. But after a while, it did not bother me. Bring in a book, magazine, e-reader, etc. Now, with everybody on their own phone, I do not look out of place. 555 At the beginning I felt like Steve Martin in this clip link text

Why would someone not have the common courtesy. Are they that petty? I guess so.

@Friday said in More Elon Drama: Does anybody think she will sever ties to the money as well? Her mom (Elon’s ex) already got a bunch of money in the divorce.

Jon thanks for the generous offer. My daughter will pay a friend's electricity bill for the next 2 months. Let's hope that will do the trick.

Obama, and I think Bush, said that would be pandemics on the horizon. This just confirms Biden as a plagiarist. (LOL)

@George-K said in “Don’t pee in the pool!”: @brenda said in “Don’t pee in the pool!”: @George-K said in “Don’t pee in the pool!”: When “pool” is spelled “ocean.” Something seems familiar here ... F’ing hotel Wi-Fi didn’t let me post, and then unbeknownst to me, it went thru. You should go pee in their pool to get your revenge.

I have no problem with the ad, and I suspect his target audience in Missouri understands exactly what he is saying. Some of y'all need to get out to fly-over land.

A wise man once told me, "The devil lives in a church sound system". Maybe that goes for home sound systems, too....

I have long said that the woke and their leftist mainstream enablers are defined by a characteristically absent sense of humor. I suspect this is the opposite side of the low self awareness coin.

@Axtremus said in The Farmer (JFK quote): Not exactly. The farmers who sell at farmer's market sells at retail there. And at scale, there must be "bulk pricing" available to farmers for things like fertilizers and weed/insect control chemicals at discounts not available to retail customers at the likes of Home Depot and Loew's. It's very hard to believe that a large scale farming operation has to pay retail for basic supplies and materials. JFK lived in a time before big box stores are in vogue, before big corporate farming operations, and the quote romanticized away farmers markets. On a % of farms (maybe not on a % of acres farmed), a pretty high majority of farms in the US are family owned and operated.
