Personally, though, I have no problem with teaching Communism (along with other major ideologies) in schools. The focus on Mao, Stalin, and Castro, however, seems to unnecessarily narrow the treatment of the subject. How can you skip over Marx and Lenin and still claim to teach Communism?
It's not a 'Communism in theory and practice' type course like you might have in college, it's specifically to communicate Communism's horrors. Remember it's in support of "Victims of Communism Day" or some such.
