Why doesn’t she run for President? She’d very likely win. Not saying I would vote for her but the celebrity candidate has been shown to win many times.

Black. Woman. Timely. Knows how to present well on camera. Well spoken. Immediately gets the whole left vote, plus a good portion of female suburban voters. AFAIK no major scandals other than her real name was supposed to be Orpah but they had a typo on the birth certificate.

Vanity? Same reason she interviews folks like Lance and Prince Harry.

Would she beat Trump?

She may have a conscience about not feeling qualified for the job. But I agree that she would win. Why not? It's not nuclear physics where you need a lifetime of training.

She has had her share of scandals
She has enough money, and the right identity, to make them go away
She is alternately fat and slim, to win the job she would have to stay somewhere near slim, she wouldn't like it

Why? Trump was a walking tanker spill of foul lipids and won the electoral college in 2016.
But to your point, 89, it’s a good question. If she announced interest tomorrow it would be a 9 on the political Richter scale. That’s a simple fact, regardless of how you or I might feel about it.

She'd get beat like a yard dog.

Yes, she would win, certainly, no question
But I don't think she would like it, so in the end I don't think she would run.
Tom Hanks might beat her.

I seriously doubt she wants that responsibility
