@Aqua-Letifer I rarely use external monitors with a laptop. But it is nice to see this one has some power to drive anything I want. It will drive a 4K 43" TV for trade shows. At home, for studio work, it will probably see a 38" Ultra-Wide like what I use on my main workstation. It will probably inherit the one I have now as I would like to upgrade this one to a higher refresh rate which is currently 75Hz

I am doing an on-site demo next week for a potential new customer and I needed something in stock, that I could live with for a few years. This seemed to fit the bill.

I had a bigger budget but what I "wanted" is not available. I think for the money, this represents very good value with a killer screen, 32GB ram, an RTX 3060 GPU, AMD Ryzen 5800 8 core / 16 thread CPU.

    Update?

She almost got kicked out of school due to the coughing. 🙄 But each day it gets slightly less frequent. Now it's just a few times a day.

Glad it's going away, even if slowly. She's probably too young to use an inhaler on her own, and that might have been necessary if her coughing continued.

Well, things are getting interesting. I got an urgent email this evening from the staff of our other US senator asking for my permission to also submit this same request from her office. I said, "Ja, you betcha!"

    The plot thickens ...

Good question. It took a long time then because it was groundbreaking and the main engineer died in the middle of it.

Now, if it took a long time, it would be because of bureaucracy. That definitely wasn’t the problem in the 1870s.

    I told D2:

Get a can of skyline, so it’s not a major effort. It’s VERY unusual, and when you first taste it you say, “What the actual fuck?”

    But then…yeah!

Maybe some friends will get locked up with her.

Indeed. And you may have eaten too much, but never tell anyone you're stuffed. Like, ever.

I don't know enough about this matter to agree or disagree; but if y'all are all over Sotomayor for acting on her feelings, then why aren't you doing the same toward Thomas for doing the same thing? (He said, "Federal courts, years later, lack the competence and authority to relitigate a State’s criminal case." Pretty sweeping!)

Note in the article it talks about the size of the aircraft and drone swarms.

    Yup saw that. Big plane.

Imagine a fighter half the size of a B2, but stealthier, with releasable drones controlled by the Wizzo or a couple of crewman.
Or, as you pointed out, a team of guys on the ground.

Which makes the need for a pilot or Wizzo moot.

You've got loitering drones and suicide drones being used in Ukraine. I think this isn't as far in the future as some think. Look at the transformation in the last 20 years.

I was watching a YouTube video, and a guy from London said,

    "I'm about 5 foot 11 inches tall and I weigh 75-77 kilos."

    What?

I would have thought it would be more common for most Brits to talk about their weight in terms of stone than kilos. A stone is 14 pounds, so you'd say 12 and a half stone rather than 175 pounds.

Maybe that's changed since I left?
