Ok so that was ridiculously easy. Popped out the (failed) valve core and installed a replacement. Took maybe…35 seconds of work?

If I was paying a union to represent me and they pulled this crap I’d scream to the high heavens. Complete dereliction of duty. Increasing diversity is not their function in any way.

@Aqua-Letifer said in Spreading joy and inclusion...: @LuFins-Dad said in Spreading joy and inclusion...: Wait, there are Pride Parades in a couple of weeks? Two weeks ago was the “Day of Visibility”, April 13th is Pink Day, Pride Month is June, October is LGBT History Month, May 17th is Day Against Homophobia & Transphobia, Drag Day is July 16th, Agender Day is May 19th, November is Trans Awareness month, and so on ad nauseum… They're making their own feast days, basically. I’ve noticed this too here.

Surprising that Apple Inc. does not already have Apple Stores there.

Somewhat related https://www.nytimes.com/2023/04/11/us/politics/abortion-republicans-elections.html QUOTE “If we can show that we care just a little bit, that we have some compassion, we can show the country our policies are reasonable, but because we keep going down these rabbit holes of extremism, we’re just going to keep losing,” said Representative Nancy Mace, Republican of South Carolina, who has repeatedly called for more flexibility on first-term abortions and exceptions for rape, incest and the life and health of the mother. “I’m beside myself that I’m the only person who takes this stance.” She is far from the only one. The chairwoman of the Republican National Committee, Ronna McDaniel, has been showing polling to members of her party demonstrating that Americans largely accept abortion up to 15 weeks into a pregnancy and support the same exemptions that Ms. Mace wants. Dan O’Donnell, a conservative radio host in Wisconsin, wrote after the lopsided conservative defeat in the state Supreme Court contest that abortion was driving young voters to the polls in staggering numbers and that survival of the party dictated compromise. @taiwan_girl Ha! Wow. I recall something similar (not a porno) when in a Taxi in Aruba. Let's just say it was a very vulgar music video.

@mark just beginning to learn the Rondo. Fortunately, the entire "A" theme is repeated multiple times, so it's a shorter project.

They should do the basement strategy again. Avoid travel. Just Zoom it in. Less carbon, less pollution, less traffic jam. Just post the videos on the Internet and be done with it.

Probably a good thing for the population to spread out more evenly.

Something like that would be a good idea. TV political shows have shifted so that (I think) they pretty much only invite guests who they agree with or are part of their "tribe".

I've known more than one doc that was artistic. One of the paths I worked with painted in several media and sculpted. Knew an ortho guy quite talented and he had several oil paintings hanging in the hospital. The local public health doc dabbles with painting, but he has a good eye...Guy probably has a couple of million dollars worth of paintings, hanging in his house. But...I've known a lot more docs who were musicians and that's artistic in its own way. Shucks, the local symphony would lock their doors if there were no doctors playing in it. They make up a third of the symphony.
