    American old people don't function nearly as well as British old people. It must be all that freedom.

    Like so many bio things it would be best as a series.

    Heck of a play (and tag by the catcher too). I believe this play (if I'm not being too dramatic) saved their season and therefore saved their national championship that they later won. Choking up on the bat... more players should do it. Go for the hits, the singles... Pete Rose knew this and is why he's the hit king.

    Very readable, and welcome. But I was not worried. My lifetime supply is assured.

    Seems pretty goofy to me. If human drivers were all super good, okay, then I can understand. But there are some real real bad human drivers out there, and I am not convinced that the robot drivers are any worse. LOL

    I have a friend (no, not @mark) who is a serious audiophile. We were talking about some of the ridiculous prices for high ultra-high equipment. I commented about cables for speakers, and he said that there are people who will pay thousands of dollars for cables. Not sure I understand that - after all, electrons are electrons, and I'm not sure they move slower through cheaper cables. But, then, I'm just an old geezer who wears hearing aids which I only use to listen to audiobooks so shut up.

    For sure that is a big problem. Apartment buildings dont want to install charge stations because of the cost. Apartment livers dont want to buy electric cars because apartments dont have charge stations. LOL On another note, I thought this was an interesting article about a Shell station that does not sell gasoline, it is only for charging. @Axtremus said in To Die in New Jersey: Is battery fire harder to fight than gasoline fire? "However, when fires do occur, electric vehicles with lithium ion batteries burn hotter, faster and require far more water to reach final extinguishment, Sutcliffe says. And the batteries can re-ignite hours or even days after the fire is initially controlled, leaving salvage yards, repair shops and others at risk."

    @Jolly said in A Growing Problem: Correct me. [image: m2-2006.gif?hl=ad] US Money Supply President Trump Jan 2017 = 13,283 Jan 2021 = 19,357 % change = 45.7% President Biden (to date) Jan 2021 = 19,357 May 2023 = 20,805 % change = 7.5%

    @taiwan_girl said in Tucker #5: For Twitter, video views on Twitter are measured by anyone who watches for more than 2 seconds. Yup. Have to admit that I'm surprised that it's so short. I would have been a bit more generous - maybe 15 seconds? Nevertheless, I believe I commented earlier that Twitter "views" don't necessarily translate into actual "viewings." Does a two-second glimpse translate into any kind of monetization - because it's always about the Benjamins.

    @Jolly said in I read it in the newspaper.: I thought these guys had an interesting business model: Small writing staff - just two guys, and editor/reporter and a reporter. Concentration on local news and sports (of course), but also an investigative component. A state-wide consortium. Shared stories with other papers that might have stories of interest. Price. It's $1. My brother just started stringing for a similar publication up around Akron. Should be interesting.

    40 years ago Mr. T gave me an autographed picture. We were in the hobby of the Hilton Hawaii Village at the time. He is a good guy. He was there, along with Loni Anderson, to film the Bob Hope Easter special. Bob was there too.
