@Doctor-Phibes said in Homophobic: Freedom by its very nature involves people being allowed to It's more like people are not prohibited from... There is a difference. The behavior in question is not prohibited, neither is the distaste for it.

Muzzle awareness, at all times. Had a good buddy that left a ricochet hole in an interior house door as a reminder. He was cleaning a .357 and thought he had emptied the cylinder. One round was stuck, though. When he cycled the gun and let the hammer fall, he shot his floor. The bullet ricocheted off the floor and through an interior door. Good muzzle awareness, so nobody was hurt. A lesson learned the hard way, by one of the best men with a handgun I've ever seen.

The ukulele I purchased in January was built to raise funds for Bill's son in law who is suffering from this. I forwarded this article to him. I hope he qualifies for it.

Thus the phrase "climate change" was born, and "global warming", disowned.

I wonder who has more hatred for black conservatives in Chicago, blacks, or progressive whites? Probably the latter, and that's why no such person will ever be elected there.

I don't believe RC-135s are armed other than maybe some defensive flares or something. It's crazy how quickly the range closed (i.e., distance between the jet and the RC) once the jet banked, it shows how fast things can get dicey up there. Plus...the turbulence!

That’d be damn near bipartisan. Perhaps there is reason to hope.

When I visited the UK a few weeks back, one thing I really took advantage of with my brother was the public footpath system. Basically, you can go for walks in the countryside almost anywhere - you drive about 10 miles away from the city, and you're out in the most beautiful countryside, and you have a right to walk in it, because of the system of public footpaths. If you've never experienced it, you just have no idea what you're missing. Walking in the city is OK, but doing it in the countryside is an absolute joy.

I usually watch series long after the hub bub. For example earlier this year I finished Breaking Bad. Next up I think I’ll watch Band of Brothers.

2 years ago the FAA determined that the default adult weighs 190 pounds, up from 170. In winter it is 195 up from 175 We would always ask passengers what was their weight. I always added about 10 pounds to what people told me, I'm sure they were all lying.

Vote for her, you get him! I remember Hillary telling people this (with reversed genders) when Bill was running. The Obama's can't lose. She'll be so proud.

@LuFins-Dad said in AI Makes Shit Up: So I don’t find the fact that it’s making shit up to be impishly clever and witty… We're not ready for technology that can pass the Turing test. Like, at all.
