It feels like RI is considerably better than it used to be. The stories the locals tell about the good old days are quite interesting, there's a long history of Italian gentlemen with expensive looking jewelry which doesn't really seem to apply any more.

I saw that and my first thought was to dismiss most anything the media tried to blame Russia for.

I felt like we should have been able to vote on whether the town installed a decent sewer system. It got voted down by a bunch of people who’ve clearly never lived in a civilized manner and don’t understand water tables.
