I loved the ending of the article. In short, that it happened first in 1919, and also a milestone in 1932, "none of which happened in the US", lol.

I failed a physics exam in the Rutherford building, so have a real connection to this momentous event.

I didn't start drinking until after dinner, so I'm innocent of that one.

A comment...After I retired the first time, my wife threatened to bury me in the back yard. Not because I was doing nothing, it was because I had too much going on around the house and I started early.

So, I went back to work full-time, but in a totally different career field. It was hard, but it was fun. And it stretched the brain, along with meeting a lot of new people. Sadly, some health issues got in the way and I had to quit.

I got antsy and went back to healthcare working PRN. I've enjoyed that, but I'm getting c!oser to hanging it up. I certainly would have stayed in the other career field if I could.

So if you can retire and you're able to do something else, do it. I think you'll find it rejuvenating.

Speaking of winter coats, it's 2 degrees with windchill, and all my bloody stupid dog wants to do is run around in the back yard.

I was aware of digitalis, just not the comparison to foxglove.

The bodies of the dead, except for the cook, were found in the cabins on the left-hand side of the boat, where the passengers may have tried to search for remaining bubbles of air, the head of Palermo's Fire Brigade said last month.

Took her to the examination room no doubt for a body cavity exploration search.

Hard to imagine what could justify.
