Remember when everyone was outraged by the picture of W holding hands with the Saudi prince?
Good times, good times!
https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/bill-ayers-unrepentant-lying-terrorist-andrew-c-mccarthy/
A Weatherman affiliate group which called itself “the Family” colluded with the Black Liberation Army in the 1981 Brinks robbery in which two police officers and an armed guard were murdered. (Obama would like people to believe all this terrorist activity ended in 1969 when he was eight years old. In fact, it continued well into the eighties.) Afterwards, like Ayers and Dohrn, their friend and fellow terrorist Susan Rosenberg became a fugitive.
Bill Ayers? The hell you say!
Bernadine Dohrn? The HELL you say!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernardine_Dohrn
Dohrn had graduated from the University of Chicago Law School in 1967. During the 1980s, she was employed by the Sidley & Austin law firm. From 1991 to 2013, Dohrn was a Clinical Associate Professor of Law at the Children and Family Justice Center at Northwestern University School of Law. She is married to Bill Ayers, a co-founder of the Weather Underground.

Zero deaths.
Yeah, the one death that we know can be directly attributed to the rioters is that of an unarmed woman shot in the neck by...well, we really don't know by whom, do we?
I suppose you can attribute one more, the person who was trampled. That, however, was unintentional.
We don't know the circumstances of
Officer Sicknick'sthe other deaths, and it's going to be a stretch to say that a heart attack, or stroke was a direct result of the riot. Good luck proving that in court. -

So can we please stop that narrative?Yep, that's a very legit point.

Zero deaths. Exploding during night hours. I’d say the January 6th attack, invasion, insurrection...much worse. Plus a few deaths, too.
They are morally superior because of failure in their attempt to kill United States Senators and Representatives?

Ashli Babbitt was her name. As I understand it, although I could be wrong, she was shot by police or Secret Service inside the Capitol Building on 6 January.
Don't know why she was there that day. Got swept up in all the selfie taking I guess. On the other hand, she could have been making mischief there.
I don't know.

Yes, shot by police OR Secret Service - we don't know by which, or the identity of the shooter.
She was there rioting with all the other doofuses. She was, indeed, making mischief by breaking through a broken window into a hallway.
She was shot at that time, even before the crossed the window. And, she was unarmed. The video is all over YouTube.
These are serious questions:
Who shot her?
What was the justification?
Why has the name of the shooter not been released?I'm by no means justifying her actions. She was a stupid idiot.
But being stupid and unarmed doesn't justify being shot by an unidentified cop.
Why is there no outrage over her shooting, but Kenosha burned?
That question, of course, is rhetorical.

It must suck to feel the need to circle the wagons with these clowns.

No I’m just saying if you compare the night bomb that didn’t hurt anyone to a mob of thousands that resulted in multiple deaths, hundreds of injuries, and included a number of people out to kill Pence and Pelosi... the comparison of which attack is “worse” is clear to me.

As far as I can tell, no one is circling wagons with these doofuses. Simply pointing out that the outrage over these events on Federal property are being given much more attention than similar events in Portland, when the Speaker of the House referred to the National Guard as "Stormtroopers."
And now, there are thousands of "stormtroopers" in Washington DC, and she is silent. A month later, they're still there.
And the media was silent, as was the Vice President, who actually encouraged more violence last summer. I was in Chicago and the suburbs as they burned in August during the "mostly peaceful" protests. I have several friends who were in fear for their lives, homes and businesses last summer.
Yeah, 5 people died around the time of the January 6th riot. How many died last summer? How many rapes occurred?
Or are deaths more tragic based on the context of the nature of the protest and the location at which they occurred?
I'm not justifying, by any means, what happened on Jan 6th. I'm pointing out the silence, the call to violence by the to-be Vice President of the United States, as well as countless other so-called "leaders" of our country.
The whole lot disgust me.
This is not wagon-circling. This is a GKSR that hasn't even been defined yet.

Why has the name of the shooter not been released?Who shot her? Someone in law enforcement while in the line of duty. But we knew that already.
What was the justification? She was a part of an unlawful mob that was rampaging through the Capitol Bldg vandalizing property and, apparently, threatening the Vice President and other elected officials. Whether she was armed or not is irrelevant.
Name of the shooter? Can't tell you. But if it was a Secret Service agent who fired the shot, we do not have a need to know, now do we?

What was the justification? There are very high standards for a LEO shooting someone. Watch the video, and explain the imminent threat to life that this unnamed officer experienced. "In the line of duty" is a wide brush. By that standard, a cop who stops a DUI is entitled to shoot.
apparently, threatening the Vice President and other elected officials.
Did the mob do that? Perhaps. Did SHE? You'll have to prove it. Good luck.
vandalizing property
The statues of Andrew Jackson, Jefferson Davis, and the courthouse in Portland would weep, if they could.
Whether she was armed or not is irrelevant.
No. It is precisely relevant. If she is unarmed, she poses no immediate threat to the officer who shot her. That's the standard in the US. The Canadian standard might be different, and I'd love to learn of what is a justified shooting by Canadian police.
Name of the shooter? Can't tell you.
Yup. And yet, the names of all the police officers who encountered and killed ARMED protestors are all over the media. Why is that?
That's another rhetorical question.

I was with you until the anonymous shooter part.
You can't kill an American citizen even in a line of duty legal shooting and remain anonymous.
-
If you name Secret Service agents, then it's not a very secret service, is it?
To be honest, I'm surprised more of these knobheads weren't killed. The idea that you can go rampaging through government buildings acting like a total cock seemed to be fairly commonplace among them. In a number of countries, there'd have been considerably more use of government weaponry to combat these cretins.

Honestly the attempts to minimize and resort to whattaboutism are ultimately a type of wagon circling or weak defense.
It’s pretty liberating to just be able to criticize these guys the way they deserve without any “buts” or “it just thats” added on.
Think back to people ‘contextualizing’ 9/11 or comparing it to this or that US led attack from history.
“I fully condemn the attacks on the trade center, but whattabout Iran in 1956...”.
“I don’t support the attacks on NY and the Pentagon, it’s just that...”
