Pennsylvania aside, I would agree that the election and voting stops on Election Day.
The counting stops when you finish counting. That’s something I assume all would agree with.
As for Pa, strong believers in states rights should support that the state has the right to accept votes until nov 6 if it so decides. The state Supreme Court supported it. And that was upheld by SCOTUS including the opinion of the Chief Justice.
Don’t see the problem
Pennsylvania is a disagrace. Prompt election results are a critical component of an election. There is no excuse for how they decided to count. Almost every other state realized this. I don’t understand why you think it doesn’t matter

CNN just said Michigan is now blue
But not by much. According to my Google setup, it's 49.4% Biden and 49.1 Trump. I'm reading this at 9:42 AM EST.

au contraire, i think their system of tallying votes is totally fucked up. but there is a big difference between annoying and illegal
the simple solution would be to have a federally mandated nation election law making one standard conforming system for all 50 states. oh, but that would violate the golden principle of independent state rights.
cant have it both ways, if the states can decide, then they can be as annoying as they want to their citizenry. if its a national mandate, then the states will have to relinquish said right. dont think the republicans here would like that.

i agree, no invalid votes. just count the legal ones.
but those that think the there are thousands of invalid ones, please show the evidence
And there could be just as many fraud votes by Republics as Democrats.
Democrats don’t hold the “evil“ card between the two parties and Republics don’t hold the “good” card when it comes to voting.

How can there be a massive conspiracy in four states involving hundreds of vote counters and not one scrap of evidence?

I am not addressing conspiracy I am addressing the right for timely results. It’s unconscionable for some states to set up a mechanism where the counting isn’t over. It is as simple as that. People have a right to be LIVID
-
Absolutely. I find it ironic the United States sends observers to foreign countries to facilitate elections and they can’t get it right themselves.
But be that as it may, I agree results should be timely. But that’s not an excuse to say, well, your votes don’t count. Too bad. Let’s call it right now and ignore your votes.

As Mr. Hanlon said, "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity."

I don’t think this country has ever had results on election night. Often it becomes “callable” based on partial results.

Isn’t that why the inauguration used to be in March? Because of the time it took to finalize the voting Wayback a long time ago?
-
Yup, each state has its own measures to certify the results of the election. There are no uniform dates for the states to certify results. Some states don't certify their results until December. Thus, the best one can do is project winners based on initial tabulations of the results.

Nixon conceded to Kennedy on wed afternoon in 1960. Right now in the states it’s still wed morning. So this year is is still ahead of that.

But the whole world knew that there would be a rebound after the initial count
I knew it. And I have no political acumen. How can it be that he didn’t know?
He knew it. He just doesn’t want to admit it, it doesn’t help his fraud narrative.
