El Salvador declines to return Garcia

More about this wonderful “Maryland Father”
-
Don’t get me wrong, he absolutely needs to be brought back. But for our sake, not his.
-
That's weird he was just given a warning, too.
So for actual evidence, his only crime so far is he was loitering while looking for work.
But the more likely story is he's MS-13, an abusive husband at times, and likely a trafficker of illegals from Mexico to Maryland.

True or not? I dont know.
This is the stupidest argument ever. The marijuana leaf = M. The smiley with xed eyes = S, the single cross = 1, the skull with the 3 squares is a regular dice model = 3
MS13… An agent typed in the letters on the picture relating what each symbol meant. It’s a frigging gang symbol glossary on the picture but people are saying the letters are fake. Yes, they are fucking fake. Barrio -18 doesn’t tattoo that name on their arm using Arial font… FFS

All of which has nothing to do with defying a court order.
Absolutely. I don’t disagree. Hell, it never should have gotten to the point of needing a court order to begin with. There was a stay, they accidentally deported him anyway. Fix the problem. Bring him back, get the stay lifted, and deport him.
But let’s stop pretending this guy is a great father and a pillar of society.
The guy needs to be removed from the country and the administration needs to follow the law in doing so. Both can be true.

I don't support non-criminals being placed in foreign prisons. If you want to deport an illegal, do so. But not to a prison.
Apparently, Garcia was moved to a better detention facility but still has no access to news or the ability to communicate with anyone outside.
The thing that was brought up regarding the odious prosecutions of Trump is if they can do it to him, they can do it to you. The same principle applies here.

I’ll go one further. I don’t even approve of sending foreign nationals to foreign prisons while they are still under our jurisdiction. They committed a crime? Lock them up, in the US. (Try them first, of course). Then deport or extradite if the other country has cause. The idea of using foreign prisons because they are more of a hellhole than we allow in the US is a complete hell fucking no in my mind, whether they are citizens or not. But if you deport him legally, I don’t really give a flying fig what the El Salvadoran government does with him after he is legally deported.
