Somewhat related, when I first moved to Minnesota I thought it was ripe for data centers. The climate is cooler (which helps), there is land, there is water, there is power (and potential for more), and geographically it's the last major city until you hit Denver and/or the west coast... Anyway, it sounds like Meta and other companies are starting to buy land for building data centers.

Of course, if 100,000 people have new jobs working for Stargate in the next 30 days, I'll happily eat my words. I'll print this page out and eat it and video tape it. Otherwise, just another lie. People are too used to his exaggerations that they don't even see it anymore.
(And believe me, I think Trump for anything he's doing to push this concept along. Just wish he could avoid lies about it when he speaks)

Zero connected? What are you talking about. There are 2.4 million homes or businesses now connected to high speed internet since 2021.
That being said... I'm just being a fact checker here lol. Who knows if those 2.4 million places would've been connected to high speed internet anyway as it slowly rolls out to everywhere. Lots of grants approved, and all that bullshit but one thing (most of the time) that Trump can do much better is force the change... faster. That's what we need in the white house, and yes... I'm an Elon fan as well, his track record of delivering game-changing new technologies isn't even close to being matched in history.
