I mean your lack of integrity for being a guy who is more than willing to get down and dirty may be such that you're unwilling to even admit that you throw stones yourself. I think everybody gets what he's saying. It's just that some of us reject the notion that Trump and his supporters bear an important part of the responsibility for the rioting. Millions accept that, of course. I mean it is not new that a hated politician can be easily blamed for bad stuff, by those who hate them.

I don't anticipate TDS sufferers ever coming to terms with their own personal failures and culpability for the cultural conflagration they have helped to create. This is a consequence of their attitude that no outcome is worse than Trump being president, full stop. Of course they paint themselves into a corner when they so proudly claim that. And of course they'll never admit that yes, some things could be worse. The only thing they can do when they see those worse things, is to blame Trump.

Keep in mind all of this is in response to Trump warning us about what Biden’s America might look like by showing us footage of what Trump’s America actually looks like.

I have to admit this is kind of funny. President Trump shows videos and talks about what is happening as what would happen under President Biden.

Yeah the subtext of the convention was basically ‘if Trump were president none of this would be happening’.

It makes perfect sense for Trump to point to the riots and run against them. The only people guffawing are the people who don't like him anyway and are only too happy to blame bad stuff on him, no matter how flimsy the connection.

Funny, that's EXACTLY what I thought about Obama. I remember times (e.g., black college prof breaking into his own house, police showed up) as well as other times when Obama actually invited the issue (person) to the White House.
And, I remember thinking how he smiles and acts all superior-like with his lofty intellectualism, where it was obvious what he was doing was fanning the flames to deteriorate race relations. I still think Obama does the same thing: pretend to unite while actually working to divide, the guy in general doesn't like white people.

So we're back to Sweep Under Your Own Porch land.
