Risk/reward appraisal apparently contains a large tribal component these days. It must be what rushes in to fill the vacuum of facts which, if they were available, could be used to generate a robust risk/reward. But they're not as available as many people would like us to believe.

You have the right to not get a vaccine and companies and education and healthcare have the right to make the certificate of vaccination an entry requirement.

Agreed. At that point, why would I care if someone doesn’t get it any more than I care if someone doesn’t wear a seatbelt in another car?

During flu season, people at work were required to get flu vaccine. Those who couldn't or refused, were required to wear face masks if they wanted to work. I saw several nurses wearing masks while taking care of patients during flu season.
Simple choice: get vaccinated or protect others (which is, sort of, the same thing).

ObamaCare allows up to 50% surcharge on healthcare insurance premiums for smokers compared to non-smokers in the same age bracket and geographical area. Furthermore, even though smokers are charged higher premiums, they do not get any additional government subsidies to pay for those higher premiums. That said, while the "50%" surcharge is the maximum allowed by the ACA, individual states get to set lower surcharge levels, including no so charge if a state so desires.
