Kamala!

Based on what pattern of behavior do @Klaus and @Doctor-Phibes find this response predictable? Have George or Mik ever commented on the sex lives of AOC, HRC, Pelosi, Bass, or any number of other women? Not that I can recall.
The pattern is something like this: Successful young attractive woman -> must have slept her way to the top, slut. Women that doesn't fit male stereotypes of attractiveness (such as HRC) -> a butch, probably has a penis. Older woman with strong opinions -> annoying bitch. There are plenty of examples for this on this board (not necessarily from the posters you mention). If you look long enough, you'll always find some flimsy "evidence" for such a predetermined stereotype. Thanks to confirmation bias, that's sufficient to close the case.

There's no pattern except in your mind. There are lots and lots of women who have made it to the top of their field without being accused by anyone - here or otherwise - of whoring herself to do it. Harris is being accused of it because it's a well known fact that she did it.
Also, before anyone gets all wound up about it and starts throwing rocks, I will remind you of how Sarah Palin was treated, how Trumps wife has been treated, and several others.

Only when Helsinki freezes over.

Now I ask, did the Kamala selection change a single vote to Biden? Was there anybody out there saying “I wasn’t going to vote for Biden, but now that he’s picked Kamala, I have changed my mind!”?

There is no lack of black Americans making positive, reflective statements on what Kamala Harris’ nomination to a major party ticket means to them. There is no lack of Indian Americans doing the same.
Officially, the Jamaican Foreign Minister publicly congratulated Harris with a tweet. But nothing from Narendra Modi’s administration. Not that the Modi administration has to say anything, just that the silence there is noteworthy.

I had occasion to spend about 3 hours in a waiting room yesterday morning where CNN was on the TV.
If Kamala had been a male, the only term to describe the CNN coverage would have been a verbal fellating. The talking heads went on, and on, AND ON, about how historic her selection was, how she's a "powerful woman" (who dropped out of the race before the first primary, of course), and how she brings a "new face" to the Democratic party.
Nothing, nothing, was said about her history as a Senator, Congresswoman, or politician at the local level in California.
It reminded me of Bernie Goldberg's book, "A Slobbering Love Affair."
