Once again, BBC approaches this from the plight of the Gazans.
If you look at the BBC website there are plenty of articles about the horrors that have happened to the Israelis written from their perspective. Many of them are very difficult to read. I don't feel that the situation of the Gazans should be ignored or overlooked. Clearly Hamas were the aggressor, and are monsters, but the regular folk in Gaza are suffering because of this.

I'm not sure what more people need to see to know this has to not stop, but BE stopped. It isn't going to happen via ceasefires and negotiation.

Terrorism can also be a sucker punch for the sake of a sucker punch. That said, revenge can also be revenge for the sake of revenge. I have heard no serious discussion of how any of this gets better. Unless it’s actually plausible to kill all the terrorists.

Yes, and potentially a "Let's see how dedicated the US really is to Israel" if Israel gets into trouble. I wasn't alive for it, but the 6 day war outcome is impressive.

Impressive is kind of dismissive. It was frigging insane, unbelievable, and miraculous. As was their survival and victory in the Arab- Israeli war in 1948.

We had a particularly memorable one with my infant son, who was expecting a single shot, and then they got him in both legs simultaneously. The howls of outrage were really quite something.

We had that happen one time when she was a baby and really sick. It was traumatic for all.
